I credit Emily with saving my life when she was attacked by 3 pit bull dogs out on the trail! She turned towards them to scare them, but they kept on attacking her. She never reared or bucked. I was able to finally let her run home when one dog released the end of her tail. she stopped nicely when she got to our front gate and acted like nothing had ever happened! Had she bucked or reared and I had fallen off, I truly believe the dogs would have killed me, their attack was so relentless! Emily was unhurt except for a few scrapes on her nose, butt, and hind leg. Dogs do not apppear to upset her on the trial since then.
